Troubleshooting
Common fixes for X connection, sync, metrics, and billing. Still stuck? and we'll help.
Cannot connect my X account
Looks like: Connect account fails, or you see errors about auth_token or ct0 when saving.
- Make sure you are logged into the correct account on x.com in the same browser.
- Copy fresh auth_token and ct0 — sessions expire. Use a cookie extension or DevTools → Application → Cookies → https://x.com.
- Paste the values exactly, with no extra spaces or quotes.
- If it still fails, try adding twid from the same cookie list, then connect again.
X session expired (reconnect needed)
Looks like: Integrations shows “Session expired — reconnect”, or sync history reports verify / auth errors.
- Open Integrations → your X account → Reconnect (or Remove and add again).
- Log into that account on x.com and copy new auth_token and ct0.
- Save — Nuvio verifies the session before storing it.
- Run Sync now on the dashboard, or wait for the next scheduled sync.
Sync failed — bio did not update
Looks like: History shows error, or your X account has a last error after a sync attempt.
- Check Integrations — reconnect X if the account shows reauth or error.
- Confirm the account is enabled and sync is on in Bio templates.
- Make sure your subscription is active (Billing) — sync pauses when access ends.
- Try Sync now on the dashboard. If it fails again, reconnect X with fresh cookies.
Sync skipped — bio unchanged
Looks like: History shows skipped, or “Bio unchanged”. Nothing posted to X.
- This is normal when your metrics and template produce the same bio as last time.
- Nuvio skips unnecessary edits so your profile does not flicker.
- If you expected new numbers, check that Stripe / Google are connected and metrics refreshed (History shows the rendered bio Nuvio computed).
- Edit your template or wait for metrics to move, then sync again.
Bio over 160 characters
Looks like: Bio templates shows over the limit, or save/sync is blocked.
- X bios are capped at 160 characters. Shorten product names, drop a metric, or use shorter separators.
- Watch the live preview counter while editing — it updates as you type.
- Remove optional lines (e.g. GSC) if you only need MRR and traffic.
Stripe MRR missing or wrong
Looks like: Preview shows $0, old MRR, or Stripe metrics are unavailable.
- Open Integrations → Stripe — confirm the read-only key is connected (create a new key if you rotated it).
- The key needs charge and subscription read access — use the link in Integrations to create one with the right permissions.
- MRR reflects Stripe’s view of active subscriptions; new revenue can take a short time to appear.
Visit or search metrics missing (GA4, DataFast, GSC)
Looks like: Sessions, clicks, or impressions show as zero or unavailable in preview.
- Integrations → connect DataFast (df_ API key) and/or Google (GA4 property + Search Console site).
- For {sessions}, connect DataFast or GA4 — or both. GA4 takes priority when both are connected.
- Use the Google account that owns the property or site (can match your Nuvio login email).
- You can connect GA4 only, GSC only, DataFast only, or any combination — pick what you want in your bio template.
- Metrics use recent periods (e.g. last 30 days visits, last 28 days clicks). Brand-new sites may show low numbers until data accumulates.
Trial ended, sync paused, or account limits
Looks like: Cannot save bio changes, sync stopped, or “add another account” is blocked.
- Open Billing — Starter ($4/mo) includes one X account; Pro ($9/mo) includes up to five. Both plans support a custom sync schedule.
- After trial ends, pick a plan to keep automated sync running.
- Starter allows one X account — remove the current one to switch profiles, or upgrade to Pro for more.
- Downgrading from Pro keeps your oldest account active; extras are paused until you upgrade or remove accounts.
Setting up for the first time? Start in Integrations after you log in.
